Dr Currie Chiang obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Singapore. Following her training in Ophthalmology at the Eye Department of the Singapore General Hospital, she went to London to work with Professor Noel Rice at the Corneal Clinic and with Professor Jay at the Glaucoma Clinic in Moorfield’s Eye Hospital. She also trained at the Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester, Royal Infirmary in Glasgow (Retina Clinic), the Western General Hospital and Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion in Edinburgh. While working as a senior officer at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion she was exposed to all aspects of eye care, including Pediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro-Ophthalmology and medical/surgical Retina. With the extensive training both locally and overseas, Dr Chiang is able to manage a wide range of eye problems.
